You’ll be one of the first marketers to join our team, working alongside the newly recruited Head of Marketing and the firm’s digital marketing agency.

Youʼll be integral to building the foundations of a young SME aiming for fast and ethical growth. Youʼll have the opportunity to suggest new processes and approaches, and develop campaigns from scratch. Youʼll be empowered to develop original content, use your experience of cross-channel marketing to drive decision-making, and to deliver projects end-to-end. Collaborating with colleagues across the business, you’ll deliver exciting campaigns that boost brand awareness and maximise revenues, and we’ll work together to achieve the company’s vision, purpose and growth ambitions.

Main responsibilities:
• Create and deliver an annual content calendar
• Write and edit blogs, tips and insight pieces
• Create and post regular social media content
• Monitor and respond to feedback on social media channels
• Create a series of multi-media digital content including video, podcasts, infographics etc
• Analyse and report on our web traffic, digital marketing results and social media performance
• Undertake regular competitor analyses
• Develop and deliver email marketing campaigns
• Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent
• Source and catalogue images and design assets
• Administer monthly budgets
• Undertake customer journey mapping

Working relationships:
• Reports to Head of Marketing
• Collaborates with Business Development Director, Head of Product Development, IT Director & external agency colleagues

The ideal candidate:

• 4+ yearsʼ marketing experience, ideally in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting
• Knowledge of both brand and digital performance marketing, with a strong track-record in both
• Experience of developing, writing and creating digital content
• The ability to manage projects concurrently, to tight deadlines
• A team player who is positive, collaborative and flexible in approach
• Hands-on, self-motivated, with a sense of humour and a positive outlook
• Commercial and strategic in focus
• Solid knowledge of web analytics
• Strong creative judgement and flair for creating advertising that is effective
• Knowledge of design packages such as PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Suite etc
• Experience in using social media tools such as Hootsuite, Content Cal etc
• Experience of workflowed email marketing with knowledge of Hubspot, SendGrid or similar
• Knowledge of HTML coding an advantage
